Maintenance Manager
Kessler Institute for Rehabilitation has been named to "America's Best Hospitals" list by US News & World Report and is consistently recognized as one of the top two rehabilitation hospitals in the country.
The Maintenance/Facility Manager will be responsible for one building 106,000 sq ft. and have knowledge of HVAC systems with particular emphasis on building automation systems, HVAC ASHRAE standards for Health Care Facilities, familiar with DCA and CMS guidelines for new/existing facilities.
Responsible for managing maintenance services at assigned facility to insure safe operating conditions and compliance with all state, federal and accrediting agencies. Plans, organizes and directs the operation of the Maintenance Department.
Requirements: High School or equivalent required. Technical school certificate preferred. Five or more years experience, including two or more years experience in a supervisory position in a healthcare environment. Must possess understanding of Joint Commission Standards as they relate to environment / physical plant and all regulatory requirements, and have clear knowledge of building codes, strong computer skills including energy management systems and AutoCAD. A previous work history in mechanical or electrical trades preferred.

Director of Quality Management
Excellent opportunity for an experienced professional to assume a highly visible and key leadership role in our Quality Management (QM) Department. Responsibilities include; coordinating and overseeing all activities related to Medical Quality Management, Performance Improvement, Provision of Care Programs, CQI and the Infection Control Program on a hospital-wide basis.
Requirements include: NJ RN license, BSN (MA preferred), 5 years relevant hospital experience in QM with statistical process control experience; familiarity with accrediting standards, i.e. federal, state, Joint Commission and CARF. Current membership/certification in the National and State Association of QA professionals preferred.

Education Coordinator - Nursing
Develops and coordinates outcome-based educational programs for clinical departments in collaboration with the clinical management team. Develops educational materials and patient education strategies for implementation by clinicians. Integrates new research findings and innovative clinical practices to improve competencies of clinical staff. Evaluates effectiveness of nursing and related medical education programs; ensures patient and staff education activities meet accreditation standards.
Requires a current and valid NJ RN license, BSN (MA Degree in Nursing or related field preferred). A minimum of 5 years previous experience as an educator/organizational trainer, teaching health care professional in a health related industry. BLS instructor certified and ACLS certification is required.
